Meet Chloe, our seventh and final selected ambassador for 2025. At just 12 years old, she trains multiple days a week and is already a wonderful example of how dedication, resilience, and joy in the sport go hand in hand.
My favourite apparatus in WAG is floor. I love to tumble. I also love that gymnastics teaches me to work hard, be determined, have goals, stay strong, keep fit and make great friends along the way.
I train at Sydney Academy of Gymnastics, Seven Hills. I am there 4 days a week, 16.5hrs per week.
My main goals are to:
Go to the Olympics
Never give up
I am currently learning cast to handstand on bars, back layouts and twisting on floor.
Happiest memory was when I competed in Level 3 State trials. That was the second competition that I’ve ever done in my gymnastics career and I was only gymnast in my session to achieve a gold band. I came 2nd in our region and I was surprised that my club and I were featured in a local newspaper.
Simone Biles, as she has taught me to never give up, even after bad days and things seem hard. An example of this is when Biles had something called the twisties in Tokyo Olympics. Biles recognised the symptoms, looked after her mental and physical health and then she came back bigger and better at 2024 Paris Olympics. She is still thinking of competing at the next Olympics, which is amazing! She continues to be a great example and she never gives up.
Other than gymnastics, I love travelling and spending time with my family and friends.
