Ambassador: Alexis
Meet Gymnastics Direct's newest Ambassador, Alexis! She's 9 years old, full of energy, and already chasing big dreams!
Q. What do you love most about your sport?

I love gymnastics because you get to be with your friends/team mates,

It makes me not only be physically stronger, but mentally and emotionally I become stronger every day,

Also, my coaches because they help me push harder to be the best gymnast I can be, as I want to go to the Olympics!
Q. Where and how often do you train?
I train at the BEST gym ever - Gold Medal Gymnastics. I train Monday-Thursday, 4pm - 7pm. I also do extra training at home for strength.
Q. What are your main goals?
To be the best gymnast I can be! To go to the Olympics! And be the ALEXIS BENDELL.
Q. What new skills are you trying to learn?
Perfecting my front handsprings and my Kip.
Q. What is your happiest memory in gymnastics and what about it made it so special?

Winning The Gold Coast level 3 Overall Regional Champion because it shows how hard I have worked on my gymnastics and how much time and effort I put in.

When I met the Australian Olympians, Georgia [Goodwin] and Ruby [Pass]. It was so special because they are both my Gymnastics idols.
Q. Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Georgia Godwin, because when she had a big injury, she never gave up and she worked really hard to get back to representing Australia!
Q. What are your favourite things in life?

Being with friends and family.

Doing gymnastics trainings and competitions.

Playing oztag.

Going to the beach and also Stand up paddle boarding.
