We warmly welcome Adrenaline Cheer Elite for November's Club Focus. This month, we highlight the incredible community A.C.E. has built and the passion and dedication that drives their success.
1. How did your club start?Β
I was 18 when I started Adrenaline Cheer Elite. After years of traveling from Lismore, NSW to QLD to train andΒ compete in All-Star cheer, I thought, "If I love cheer this much, there have to be other kids whoβd feel the sameΒ if given the chance." Thatβs how the idea for A.C.E. was born, and in March 2018, A.C.E opened its doors!Β
2. How many kids do you train and what skill levels?Β
We currently have 96 competitive Allstar Cheerleaders and 74 registered recreational athletes.Β We have 6 teams this year, and we train for levels Novice to Level 5. We currently have our youngest member at 3 years old and our oldest athlete is 62. We cater for all ages, levels and abilities.Β
Β
3. Do you have any programs for children with special needs?Β
No we don't, but this is something we would love to offer in the future!Β Β
4. What is your organisation's vision/mission statement?
At Adrenaline Cheer Elite, weβre more than just a gymβweβre a family. Our mission is to create a supportive, high-energy environment where every athlete feels at home and is motivated to be their best. Weβre passionate about helping our athletes grow in skill, confidence, and resilience, setting them up forΒ success not only in cheerleading but in life. With a focus on bringing out the best in each individual, on and off the mat, weβre here to support every step ofΒ their journey.Β
5. What are some objectives of your club?Β
I have so many, but here are a few. I want to continue to:Β
-
Build a strong, family-like gym that supports all athletes.
-
Provide high-quality training for skill development and competitive excellence.
-
Encourage personal growth, confidence, and resilience on and off the mat.
-
Achieve competitive success & Promote Health and Well-Being.
Β
6. What are you most proud of in your club?
At Adrenaline Cheer Elite, weβre of course incredibly proud of our competition results. Weβre fortunate to bring home multiple podium finishes each season, and achieving success in the USA has been a huge milestone for us. But what weβre most proud of is the supportive, family-like community weβve built at ACE.Β
Our pride comes from watching our athletes grow, support one another, and succeedβnot just on the mat but in every part of their lives. This sense of family and dedication to our athletes' all-around success is what makes me proud to call ACE my home every single day.
7. Why do you think your club is important to families and your community?Β
Adrenaline Cheer Elite is more than just a gym for my athletes, their families, and our communityβitβs a second home.Β
For our athletes, ACE is where they push themselves, gain confidence, andΒ build friendships that feel like family. Itβs a place where they know theyβre valued and supported to succeed in cheer and in life. For the families, itβs a community where they see their kids grow,Β connect, and thrive alongside others who feel the same passion. And for our community, ACE brings a source of local pride, teamwork, and positive energy that lifts everyone up. Weβre here toΒ create memories, build each other up, and make a real impact that goes way beyond the mat.Β
8. What piece of advice would you give to a cheerleader/student?Β
My advice to any athlete would be: have fun, work hard, and push yourself! Cheerleading is such a rewarding sportβtheΒ more you put into developing your skills, supporting your team, and committing to your sport, the more youβll get out of it. Sports like cheer require a ton of dedication, time, and passion, but itβs so worth it. I want to encourage young athletes to findΒ a sport that genuinely excites them and to give it everything theyβve got! When you love what you do and work hard for it, amazing things happen.
